Visited Chupi Char this year for birding and honestly felt that the number of birds has gone down compared to my visits a few years back. Still a beautiful place, but the wetland condition and bird activity don’t seem the same as before. Nice initiative by the Wetland of Bengal website for highlighting these wetlands and their importance. Hope the habitat gets better.
