The pond also adds beauty to the locality and helps keep the surroundings cooler and greener, especially during hot summer days.

However, this valuable water body is facing several environmental problems. Many people throw garbage and plastic waste near the pond, which pollutes the water and affects aquatic life. During summer, the water level often decreases, creating difficulties for fishes and other living organisms.
